Evidenced by these two graphs, provided by the American Institute of Popular Opinion and Billboard Magazine, as the support for the Vietnam War decreased over the last half of the sixties, the amount of anti-war songs appearing on the weekly top 20, weekly top 100, and yearly top 100, all increased dramatically. These graphs are directly related in that popular opinions control the topics of popular music.
